About Myrtle Beach National Golf Course
From the moment “The King,” Arnold Palmer, and his team designed Myrtle Beach National’s trio of layouts, the property has been one of the the area’s most important facilities. Beginning in 1973 with King’s North, MBN opened new courses for three consecutive years, concluding with SouthCreek in 1975.
While MBN has always been among the area’s most popular facilities, it grew in stature locally and nationally when Palmer redesigned the North Course in 1996. From “The Gambler” to the island green, par 3 12th, which is flanked by a pair of burners shaped the like the letters SC, the revitalized King’s North took MBN to the next level and its reputation endures today.
Home to a full service clubhouse, a large driving range and a pair or practice putting greens, Myrtle Beach National is an ideal property to anchor a golf trip.
